Leading international workplace conference series WORKTECH will be returning this year to Singapore – the Asia edition has been held here since 2010 – and will be held on 22 and 23 September.
The event, which focuses on on technology and innovation at the workplace, will bring global best-practice, thought leadership and case-studies to share ideas that are shaping the future of work. WORKTECH15 Asia will gather industry business leaders to share expertise and further knowledge on business strategy, technology and property.
As part of the conference, Eric Phillips, Principal at NBBJ will be discussing the impact of Generation Y at the workplace and the shifting demographics workers and workplaces in China, which is actually facing a talent shortage as the total size of China’s workforce falls for the second year in a row. Phillips will look at China-based mega companies such as Alibaba and Suning and present how current trends are influencing the next generation of workers and changing the needs for workplace design, especially in high-tech industry.
