Sky-high commercial rents in Hong Kong can be a huge barrier for new entrants and old players alike in the country’s startup scene, but a newly-launched co-working spaceaims to help overcome that challenge. Hidden on the eight floor of an industrial building in Kennedy Town, Innovation Lab is the China’s Special Administrative Region latest co-working space exclusive to the Western District and has targeted startups in its sights.

Comprising of seven office units ranging from 600 to 1,500 square feet, the space offers options for a one man company looking for a hot desk with a business address to a team looking for a private office through a variety of membership tiers. Like most co-working spaces, the fully-serviced office offers facilities including high speed internet, unlimited conference room access and a 1,000 square foot fully serviced communal mobile kitchen and reception area.

“From day one, Innovation Lab has listened to our needs and delivered exceptional service. It is a thrill and inspiration to be surrounded by other talented and service oriented people. In short, the perfect growth environment for any start-ups and entrepreneur,” says Josh Gross from Chef Works, a leading global distributor of chef apparel.
