[Singapore] Startup Asia Singapore Back For 2013 Edition
After a series of successful startup events in Singapore, and Jakarta and Bandung in Indonesia last year, Asia-based online technology news site TechinAsia will be kicking off Startup Asia Singapore‘s second edition later in April this year.
To be held on 4-5 April, the event will showcase a wide variety of startup-centric activities that will again include the wildly popular Startup Arena, which will see 20 new startups pitch and challenge for US$10,000 in cash. There are also networking events that allow startup founders the opportunity to meet with investors, advisors, as well as incubators from across Asia. Speakers slated to present at the event include Jixun Foo of GGV Capital, Tetsuya Mori of DeNA Asia, Singapore’s Darius Cheung who sold his startup tenCube to McAfee, and Thailand’s Pawoot Pongvitayapanu, who likewise sold his startup Tarad.com to Rakuten.
Interested startups who want to participate in the Startup Arena can register their interest here. Otherwise you can purchase your tickets here. Early bird discount ends on 18 January, so register soon and get a 25-percent discount.
