Sometimes you invent something; sometimes the inventions find you.

Despite the fact that with success rates for businesses – and even more, inventions – heartbreakingly low, some of the world’s most popular products were actually invented by accident. Just take the Post-It Note, which 3M chemist Spencer Silver accidentally discovered while he was looking to create a strong adhesive but instead concocted a light adhesive that used to stick things yet be easily pulled off.
