Having too many physical documents lying around is a problem. It becomes a real pain when we can’t find the relevant documents. Launched in December 2010, India-based Kleeto understands the problem and hopes to solve it by digitizing all your documents and store them in the cloud.
Kleeto will pick up the physical documents, scan them and save the digitize content for its clients. Search becomes simple with all the documents digitized and titled properly. Of course, softcopy documents can also be uploaded to Kleeto directly through its website. Plus, Kleeto also allows online document sharing and even provide service to deliver printed copies right to your doorstep. With Kleeto, all users need is their passwords to gain access to all their documents.
“There are certain ideas which one can’t implement when having a corporate life – you have to have belief in the idea and the only choice is to convert to an entrepreneur. The Kleeto idea started with some personal experiences related to our everyday life,” Sunial Mahajan, co-founder and CEO of Kleeto shared with us.
Kleeto is available on an annual subscription basis whereby users pay once a year and are entitled to store a limited number physical documents and digital documents depending on the package signed. Documents can be picked and delivered free of charge to homes or offices in Delhi (NCR), Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Gaziabad & Bengaluru.
“We are also looking at other revenue models but subscription is our primary revenue source. We will have annual contracts with small medium businesses and corporations to store their documents with Kleeto,” said Mahajan.
The founding team is made up of 3 co-founders who have a combined experience of more than 60 years. Co-founders of Kleeto include Sunil Mahajan (CEO), Naresh Chand (CTO) and Sanjay Dhawan (Director, Mentor). As a whole, the Kleeto team currently has about 30 people divided into 4 departments – sales, operations and technology & support.
Kleeto received investment from angel investors and will be going for its series-A funding in the next couple of weeks.
“We see Kleeto reaching millions of customers in the consumer, corporate and SMB space. Eventually, we would like to build Kleeto as one of the top 3 brands associated with simplifying consumer’s life in India,” said Mahajan.
