[Singapore][Event] Innovfest 2014
Singapore loves innovative technologies, and the number of conferences and exhibitions that take place each year in the city state that celebrate the latest in technology solutions for almost every industry can be staggering. InnovFest – organized by the University of Singapore and NUS Enterprise– is likewise one of the festivals that put together innovation-focused activities aimed at boosting investments, technology transfer and partnerships within Asia’s academic, business and technology communities.
Held from 14-16 April 2014, InnovFest 2014 will bring together like-minded research scientists, industry experts, tech transfer professionals, entrepreneurs and investors with a theme of “Asian Innovations Going Global”, where the following four key topics will be covered:
- Ageing and the Silver Industry
- Bottom of the Pyramid Technologies
- Next Generation Learning
- Urbanization and Future Cities
The festival will feature pre-conference workshops, conducted by local and international thought leaders in the areas of mentoring, marketing of technologies, IP valuation, leveraging upon IP to boost productivity and medical device development. There will also be two focused technology forums on the potential of membranes as a separation technology and new applications in graphene technology.
