Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan 2010

The biennial Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition returns this year and is inviting youths from all around the world to submit their business ideas for a chance at a share of US$60,000 in cash and prizes, mentoring and the chance to pitch to venture capitalists. Organized by Singapore Management University, the business plan competition – named after Singapore’s first prime minister and current Minister Mentor – is the first of such in Asia meant for university undergraduates, college and polytechnic students since its inception in 2001.

The competition starts in January and runs till March and participants are invited to submit a business plan executive summary for a startup or early-stage venture, which will be judged on feasibility, market analysis and scalability. Singapore participants can also take home a further prize of S$100,000 sponsored by HSBC Singapore.

You can find out more here on how to register for the launch of the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition.
