While it used to be that where recruiters used to advertise in the mass media for openings in order to look for talent, more and more are to today are turning to social media to find suitable employees. Increasingly, tech-savvy recruiters are eschewing those obsolete methods and employing tools such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to hunt and trawl for potential candidates instead. Simply put, social media is a more up-to-date method for finding great people.
