Heads up to all developers intending to work on the BlackBerry® 10 – the BlackBerry Jam World Tour is coming to Asia Pacific this July. The World Tour begins 2 July, 2012 and will cover six cities in the region – Bangalore, Delhi, Beijing, Singapore, Jakarta and Sydney. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the capabilities of BlackBerry® 10 and be among the first to develop on the new platform.

BlackBerry Jam World Tour is a series of full-day events dedicated to providing the developer community with insights on the BlackBerry 10 platform, its strengths, the vision, and how developers can make apps that stand out with customers. The Tour will offer guidance from BlackBerry platform experts with sessions focused on HTML5 with BlackBerry® WebWorks™ and Native C/C++ with Cascades as well as QML development for the BlackBerry platform. Developers will be able to interact with experts who can provide guidance, tips and tricks, and other information to help developers build apps for BlackBerry 10.

“This tour will give us the opportunity to engage directly with BlackBerry developers across Asia Pacific. We plan to support our developers with all the necessary resources to help them launch their apps for BlackBerry 10,” says Alec Saunders, VP Developer Relations at RIM. “Through these sessions, developers will be able to gain a better understanding of BlackBerry 10 and engage with their peers.”

You might also like to know that qualified developers who attend the BlackBerry Jam World Tour will be provided with a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device in order to test their apps and to help ensure their apps are ready and available for customers when the first BlackBerry 10 devices launch.
